Alex Bowman and his primary sponsor Ally will race a special salute to United States Army Sergeant Nicholas Tomko during the Memorial Day race weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway. In 2003, Sgt. Tomko was serving as a door gunner on Baghdad night patrol when he was shot and killed by enemy fire. As part of the sport-wide NASCAR® Salutes program, Ally and the Hendrick Motorsports No. 48 team will honor Sgt. Tomko’s sacrifice with this patriotic livery that features his name and rank on the hood. Now Lionel Racing is honored to present the official die-cast of the No. 48 Ally Patriotic Chevrolet.
